Early in 2011 I set about creating a viral video to promote the release of In Waves, asking fellow youtubers to share their covers of the title track “In Waves” I received and found over 80 submissions, after pulling the video, totaling some 8Gb of video my work began.

The next task was audio syncing, as some of the videos did not feature a backing track or at least a backing track loud enough, everything had to be done by hand, taking me somewhere near the region of 15-18 hours over a two week stretch. the end result though was worth it. to see so many passionate fans in their own little video versions of In Waves, it made me see the power of the internet and how the dynamic between fans and bands has changed over the years

With over 48,000 Hits I’d say my work here is done !

I would love to make another in the future i just haven’t found the right Track yet !
